Self-serve clinics with personalized health apps to meet patients where they are

Context

Forward is a membership-based primary care provider focused on preventative health. We developed a new healthcare infrastructure to address service limitations and long appointment wait times. This infrastructure includes two key components: self-serve "CarePod" clinics, similar to ATMs, that can be easily deployed, and a suite of health apps, accessible through the Forward mobile app and in CarePods.

My contribution

As the lead designer, I directed visual branding and established the team's UX/UI design foundation and testing process. I designed the initial set of health apps for touchscreens in the CarePod and mobile phones, led the overseas animation production team, and collaborated with industrial designers on spatial experience. The MVP launch of CarePods played a key role in securing our Series E funding.
